Lavender Recipes

I have a brochure out with our Culinary Lavender packets. I’d like to share some more recipes for you here on our blog, there’s just too many great ideas on how to use Culinary Lavender than could fit on the brochure.

**Virgin Lavender Mojito **

This is the perfect balance of floral, citrus, and minty freshness. Simple, elegant and kid friendly too!

1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice (about 4–5 limes) 1/2 cup lavender syrup 3 cups sparkling water or club soda 1 cup fresh mint leaves Ice cubes

  1. In a large pitcher, add the fresh mint leaves and muddle gently with a muddler or spoon to release their aroma.
  2. Stir in the lime juice and lavender syrup.
  3. When ready to serve, add ice to the pitcher, then pour in the water, sparkling water or club soda. Stir gently to preserve the fizz.
  4. Pour the mocktail into glasses filled with ice.
  5. For fancy presentation, serve with a sprig of mint, a slice of lime, and/or edible flowers like a sprig of fresh lavender.

(Add a shot of rum, vodka or gin if you prefer a cocktail)
